The Zoo
Sarah made her first trip to the zoo this winter. First but not last, as we became official zoo members. Hightlights were the aquarium, Sarah had her face pressed to the glass watching the fish; the dolphin tank with a football playing dolphin and a blowout requiring a bathroom visit.

I laughed when I saw Sarah sitting on the turtle. When I was a child, Auntie June and Uncle Burr took me to Como Zoo. At that time, a live jumbo turtle sat outside for childen to sit on. After much cajoling, I finally sat on the turtle. No soon had I sat down, the lions in the cages behind me roared. I was certain it was the turtle I was sitting on that roared. I cried forever. Only ice cream would soothe my frazzled nerves. What a great turtle memory!
